Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Siddha, the Vedic astrology application and website operated by the Siddha team (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Siddha.
1. What Siddha is
Siddha computes Vedic astrological charts, daily panchanga, planetary periods and related guidance from the birth details you enter, using the Swiss Ephemeris and traditional calculation rules. Where a calculation depends on a convention that has more than one accepted answer (for example amanta versus purnimanta months, or Ekadashi variants) the app states the rule it used.
2. What Siddha is not
Siddha is offered for reflection, cultural practice and personal interest. It is not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and it does not predict death, lifespan, illness or the outcome of legal or financial matters. Questions on those subjects are answered by referring you to a qualified professional. Remedies described in the app are traditional practices offered for information; nothing in Siddha is sold as a way to remove or alter an astrological condition. Decisions about your health, money, relationships or legal affairs remain yours and should be made with appropriate professional advice.
3. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher, to create an account. Keep your sign-in credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from Settings › Account & privacy, which removes your profiles, readings and questions as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Your content
The birth details, names, notes and questions you enter remain yours. You grant us the right to process them for the purpose of operating Siddha for you, including sending the text of your questions and the relevant chart context to the AI model providers that generate answers. Enter other people's birth details only where you have their permission to do so.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Siddha to harass, defraud or harm anyone, to make decisions about other people that the law requires to be made on other grounds, to probe or disrupt the service, or to extract the underlying knowledge base or model outputs at scale. We may suspend accounts that do.
6. Availability and changes
Siddha is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and calculation methods, content and features may change. We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on astrological content, from service interruption, or from decisions you make based on the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the Siddha team is established, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you enjoy where you live. Contact details are listed with the app in the App Store and Google Play.
